To day I have been looking at finalising our company logo, we have our design for the fish sorted out along with the layout and colour theme. The reason for our idea in developing our logo, is to make it look professional, we want it to looks like a fully established animation company with a logo thats symbolic to our work ethic and what we stand for as a company. This is also the reason for the choice of the name "free flow studios", we want our company sound like its has a calm environment and that we are flexible with our work load meaning we take each and every animation as potential work serious but we work as one relaxed unit/team.
Finalising this design has now made our work load move forward because we have now established and form of identity we can work around, but we can start using this logo on mechanised to advertise our company to our chosen target audience.
We have been looking at other logos to help generate ideas for our because we wanted to develop an idea of how other companies present their logos and what colours are commonly used so that we could apply this method to our own form of identification.
The whole design process went well because we all worked well as a team and decided on the colours and the logos together, agreed and disagreed and worked as a unit to get it finished. During this process I learned what team work is like as an animation studio and how it takes more than one person to make a design great.
