Inking and colouring (strength)

Inking and colouring are skills developed though practicing my drawing, analysing and watching tutorials. I have worked on outline for a long time, it has just come naturally and I never had to work at it I would say that I gained the interest in this technique through reading different comics and analysing the different artists, styles and techniques about used. Practicing and referring to images drawn admired artist like Jim Lee is what developed my understanding in to outlining and helped me develop my own personal fine-lining skills which have now developed even further to day now that I have been working with this skill more and often when I draw anything.

I both use and like Jim Lee as a reference because his work looks very well composed and stands out when you look at it which is based on the way he inks his work, which gives it that depth and detail.
