Manchester Animation Festival

Manchester Animation Festival was excellent I enjoyed every moment, the animations and talks over all were very well presented but there were some animations which were questionable because I felt that they had very poor stories and the way in which they were presented did not appeal to me, this was based on my personal taste. I didn't network as well as I did at Thought Bubble mainly because a lot of animation studios did not specialise in 2D which is the style in which I prefer to animate. I did How ever managed to talk to try out the Hoodoo VR game, it was great the gaming experience made me feel like I was apart of the game and the character design and scenery was amazing. BlueZoo was the only animated company which interested me the most because they had a varied team of animators and illustrators who possessed similar skills to me, they are a very expressive and varied company, I talked to both the team members who presented at MAF and provided them with my business card and talked about what I do, they stated that they were always looking for new team members with both the skills to animate and illustrate for the company.
