BAF notes

BAF notes from peter lord talk and how he became a legend with animation, he talked about how he started out at the age of 17 filming and modeling all his characters from plasticine e.g. morph to now working with mechanical skeletons and replaceable face in a growing company now called "Ardman" a name Peter nick named a BBC TV presenter.

Few notes from some animations watched on the first day, they were generally alright but some seemed very boring and lacked excitement due to artwork and content.

Japanese animation on the representation of women by Nebuaki Doi, demonstrated men animation and women animation based on the perception of women, stereotypes, sexism, representation and appearance.

Notes from talk about Strange Hill high and how it was made, the functionality of the puppets and what processes and methods are taking into consideration before animating, like talking through different acts and scenes and the animation achievements. The actors Doc Martin, Richard Ayoade and Emma Kennedy.
